Newborn photos

I feel incredibly lucky in my job, not just that I love taking pictures but that I get to see all your best bits.

All the hugs and cuddles. All the love and warmth that makes a family a family. The closeness of two people who have just had a new baby, and been through that life changing journey together. The little knowing looks that mum and dad give one another when their little one does something adorable . The brother and sister who fight all day long, but ask them to have squeeze at their photo shoot and they just cant get enough of each other. I consider myself very fortunate that I get to tell your stories and keep those memories safe.

I wanted to share just a few of the new lives that I’ve captured recently. I love to take natural and timeless images of babies not all posed in awkward positions but relaxed and content sleeping (or awake if they aren’t tired!) My newborn photoshoots are very relaxed too. Its a time for mum and dad to chill after the chaos of giving birth and enjoy a few hours watching their precious bubba looking gorgeous. This is just a precious time, which often, when looking back is over in the blink of an eye so don’t forget to capture these moments.
